Howard Weill Becomes SVP, Finance and Business Planning
New York, NY and Emmaus, PA — February 18, 2009 — Rodale Inc. announced today that Ken Citron has been promoted to Chief Information Officer and EVP, Publishing Operations, effective immediately. While continuing to oversee all of Rodale's information technology, Citron will now lead Rodale's publishing operations teams, including print production, distribution services, photography operations, and customer service. He will continue to report to Rodale President and CEO Steven Pleshette Murphy.

In addition, Howard Weill will assume business planning functions, taking on the title of SVP, Finance and Business Planning, effective immediately. He will continue to report to Eric deCavaignac, SVP, Finance and Strategic Planning.
