Doug Hall Named Senior Editor at Organic Gardening

NEW YORK and Emmaus, PA, November 2, 2009-Doug Hall has been named Senior Editor of Organic Gardening, published by Rodale Inc. Editor-in-Chief Ethne Clarke made the announcement today.

Hall joins Rodale after over a decade at Meredith. Most recently, Hall was a Senior Editor in Meredith's newsstand magazine division, where he produced gardening magazines sold under the Better Homes and Gardens brand. Prior to that, Hall was Associate Garden Editor at Better Homes and Gardens, where he wrote and edited articles about basic gardening techniques and landscape design. For eight years before that, Hall held various editorial positions at Flower & Garden magazine, including Managing Editor and Editor in Chief.

"I am thrilled that Doug Hall is joining the Organic Gardening team. His horticultural knowledge and design sense will add greatly to the depth and sparkle of the magazine; Doug's the consummate professional and he will be a real asset to Rodale as we move forward," said Clarke.

Hall's first day at Organic Gardening is November 9.
